Zoo goers step back in time as they enter the Vanished Kingdom. Here they can walk once again among animal species that are now extinct. See the Cape Lion as it stalks the Quagga (an extinct zebra species). Visit the Extinction Graveyard. See first hand the beauty of the Elephant Bird, a species that stood 10 feet high and weighed 1100 pounds. Exact replicas of these and other extinct animals can be viewed in a natural setting.
